We are directly off Hwy 19 on your way to the many beautiful getaways Florida has to offer. You will find 40 full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly. Our beautiful landscape also houses 12 tent sites for welcomed adventurers. Our amenities include Wi-Fi, pet-friendly environments, dump station, swimming pool, picnic tables, restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities.

U.S. Route 19 (US 19) is a north–south U.S. Highway in the Eastern United States. Despite encroaching Interstate Highways, the route has remained a long-haul route, connecting the Gulf of Mexico with Lake Erie. This 1400 mile length of highway passes through stunning beauty at a slower pace allowing you to enjoy life as you travel. Shady Banks RV Resort is proudly positioned on this alternate route of the American East. Many travelers find us a perfect resting place between stops.

Perfect for Us
We have typically driven Interstate when traveling south, but Hwy 19 was a beautiful peaceful drive. Shady Banks RV Resort was the perfect quiet place for our family to get some much needed down-time before our canoe adventure!
Unconventional is a good thing
Well, this place is definitely one of a kind. With so many campgrounds these days over-filled and hard to find openings, Shady Banks RV Resort was a breath of fresh air. They are under new ownership and making the place unforgettable!
We Had Our Doubts
Wasn't sure at first about driving a diferent route, but guess what?!...Florida has so much to offer beyond the mainstream Orlando vibe. Rivers, Springs, Manatees, Fishing, No crowds, no anxiety. Just Florida beauty at it's finest. So glad we made the trip.
